In 1990, the old school athletic field was renovated into a 2.9-acre park, Festival Park, with a pavilion used as an outdoor bandstand, playground area and beautiful landscaping that offers opportunities for picnics, concerts, festivals and other open-air activities.  An outdoor restroom/storage facility was added in 1998.
